A Journey to Well- BLISS with Ayurveda & Yoga A Holistic Way to Bring Balance Back to Your Life.

Plan for longevity. That’s what our goal should be when we think about our wellness. We should all want to live better, healthier, happier. Oftentimes, we set out in a new year, new month or new week with good intentions. We coach ourselves by saying that this time around we will take better care of ourselves and that our wellbeing is priority. So we begin a new routine, start seeing positive results and we begin to feel good. Then, for some reason, the routine doesn’t stick anymore like it use to. Instead, its disrupted and before we know it, we have derailed our intention, abandoned our commitment and have fallen back into old patterns. Sound familiar? It sure does. Question is, why does this happen?

What I honestly believe to be the underlying issue, the reason WHY we are unable to stay committed to our wellness and WHY we easily fall back on reliving unproductive cycles, is because we haven’t truly connected to what our own body really needs. This new routine that we have decided to implement just isn’t a right fit for us making it so much easier to give up on. Taking care of our wellbeing should be effortless, enjoyable, rewarding and empowering. I find that if something I am doing feels like a struggle to commit too, then generally it won’t stick around for the long run. Instead, when something is effortless, when it feels almost natural and I begin to feel the positive benefits, then I am more likely to make it a part of my lifestyle. This is what I mean by living a balanced lifestyle. A lifestyle that is in line with your authentic self. It’s realistic, 100% liveable and it supports the plan for longevity.

When I was studying the Science of Yoga, part of the studies was Yoga’s connection with its sister science, Ayurveda. I was immediately fascinated. Ayurveda means “life science” and its central principle to being healthy is to establish a balanced lifestyle. Ayurveda teaches us that we all have an individual body constitution and that if we honour that constitution by eating the appropriate foods and reconnecting to the natural rhythm of nature then we will be on our way to creating a healthier and happier lifestyle as a whole. In combining the practise of Yoga and Meditation, one will enhance their journey towards fulfillment. Essentially, this trilogy works on helping us create a profound connection within ourselves, encourages us to take a closer look at what we need and empowers us by giving us natural, effective, stress free information that we can easily implement in our day to day lives.

A Holistic Way to Bring Balance Back to Your Life When I began to implement the theories and concepts of Ayurveda, I felt a shift in my health. For many years I hid in silence. I was effected by anxiety, that resulted in low self esteem and eventually evolved into depression. I had tried many different health

I have tried many different health approaches but none resonated until I was introduced to Ayurveda. I decided to follow the guidelines of Ayurveda and it’s holistic approach helped me turn my life around. As a wellness coach, I want to help others do the same. Healing is a different journey for each one us but it requires us to listen and to connect with ourselves. Oftentimes, we get caught up in what everyone else is doing and perhaps start to compare ourselves to others. This behaviour eventually leads to confusion, frustration and giving up. This holistic approach will show you that if you focus on you by truly listen to your body and give yourself what you need, then you can and will be able to create and maintain a lifestyle that works for you.

A lifestyle change that will have a profound effect on your day to day living for the long run.

Connection is the vital key to balance. The more we take an introspective dive, connect to ourselves and what we really need and commit to living organically and authentically, the healthier and happier we will become. Wellness is not only BEing physically healthy it is also BEing mentally and spiritually fulfilled. Everything is interconnected and when we are in sync with all 3 spaces we are BEcoming balanced. The journey is quiet simple if you want to make a significant and impactful change to your lifestyle. It’s never to late to redesign your life and you don’t need to hit rock bottom for motivation. Life is a gift and our bodies a temple. Let us nourish it with good health, happiness and positive vibes.

Namaste.
